The Georgia Basketball Association & AAU would like to thank the nearly 150 great youth basketball teams that are participating in this nationally AAU sanctioned tournament & for choosing us for your youth basketball experience. National Hoops Series VII Fan Tickets:

The National Hoops Series VII Session #1 this weekend will be a cash-free environment! ALL admission tickets are strongly encouraged to be purchased prior to arrival via debit card or credit card ONLINE or fans can utilize debit/credit cards at the gate or pay via CashApp or Venmo at the gate.

National Hoops Series VII Game Rules:

Note: The National High School Federation Rules & Regulations will apply to all games with the following exceptions:

1. Two halves will be played with normal clock operation (Stop-Time):
a. 2nd Grade thru 5th Grade will play two 14 minute halves
b. 6th Grade thru 12th Grade will play two 16-minute halves
d. Boys 2nd-6th Grade and all girls teams will play with the 28.5 intermediate basketball
2. 3 minutes will be allotted for pre-game warm up time and halftime. This time may be adjusted at the discretion of the gym director. Games may start ahead of schedule if agreed upon by both head coaches.
3. 5 Timeouts per game (2 Full, 3 30-sec). One additional timeout per team will be allowed for each overtime period. There will be no carry over of timeouts to the two-minute overtime period.
4. Two direct technical fouls on any player, coach, or team representative will result in an immediate ejection from the facility and disqualification for the following game.
5. GBA will provide book & clock operators at all sites.
6. If a team has a 20-point lead at any point in the game, the clock will run continuously except during a timeout. To resume normal clock operation, the trailing team must shrink the deficit to under 20 points in the 1st half. To resume normal clock operation after being down by 20 points in the 2nd half the trailing team must shrink the deficit under 10 points.
7. Each Overtime period will be 3 minutes. Each team will receive one time out
8. Each team is responsible for their own warm-up basketballs and game basketballs and/or any other items brought to game. The designated home team will provide the game basketball.
9. If a team forfeits two or more pool play games for a given tournament, the team will be disqualified from the event and cannot participate in the tournament rounds of competition for that event. A forfeit for any reason will result in a 15-0 win for the non-forfeited team. All decisions in this matter are at the discretion of the tournament director.
10. A 10-minute grace period will be extended for late-arriving teams, a forfeit will occur after this point.
11. Coaches must have a coach's band placed on their wrist at all times, lost passes will need to be purchased.
12. Players are participating in their 2022-2023 grade level, Players can only participate on (1) team per grade level. Players playing down a grade level MUST meet specific age requirements.
13. Age verification documentation for each player on each team is required to be with each team at ALL times during this entire event. Failure to do so may result in forfeited games.
14. All FINAL decisions on any subject are at the discretion of the site director
15. There is a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY for abusive language or behavior.

Player Entry Into the Facilities:

1. Players MUST have on their uniform to receive free entry into the facilities & to gain access to the courts. Players not in team uniform will be considered fans.

Coaches Entry Into the Facilities:

1. Only the 2 coaches' names that were provided by your organization will be given coaching bands. Coaches must always have their coach's band placed on their wrist at all times, lost or broken bands will result in the need to purchase another band for entry.

Spectator Entry into the Facilities:

1. Spectators are strongly encouraged to purchase tickets to the event prior to entry to the facilities via credit/debit card or fans can utilize debit/credit cards at the gate or pay via CashApp or Venmo at the gate.
