Tournament Note

We are excited to be hosting the "DES MOINES MIDWEST CLASSIC" this weekend (July 22-23, 2023) in Des Moines, Iowa.

-THE SCHEDULE WAS POSTED @ 8:00pm ON 7/18/2023. COACHES WERE EMAILED AT THIS TIME.

-THE SCHEDULE IS FINAL UNLESS SOMETHING UNFORESEEN WOULD HAPPEN. IF ANY CHANGES WERE TO BE MADE WE WOULD UPDATE COACHES BY EMAIL.

1 - CHECK-IN FOR COACHES (ALL TEAMS)
-You will enter through the main doors and proceed to coach check in.
-ONLY Coaches need to check in, Players DO NOT need to check in
-Coaches can ONLY check themself in. You can NOT check in for other coaches.
-EACH team will receive two(2) coaches passes per team.
-THERE IS NO SCOREKEEPER PASS.

2 - DOORS OPEN
-Saturday doors open at 9:00am (please do not show up any sooner)

-Sunday doors open at 7:30am (please do not show up any sooner)

3 - PLEASE READ OVER THE FOLLOWING FOR SPECTATORS
-Spectators are welcome to attend. THERE ARE NO SPECTATOR RESTRICTIONS.
-We ONLY accept cash at the door for Admission. We do not accept credit cards.
Saturday - Adults: $15 & K-12 Student: $5
Sunday - Adults: $15 & K-12 Student: $5
*5 years old and younger are free

Entering the facility:
-Entry lines may be longer than normal especially on the first day. Your Patience is appreciated.
-Coaches will go through the same process as spectators and then proceed to the coach check in table.

4 - HOME TEAM
-The HOME team is listed first in pool play or on top of the bracket.
-They will wear a light colored uniform

5 - TOURNAMENT RULES
Rules are posted online under the documents section of the Tourney Machine Page

6 - RESULTS AND SCHEDULE UPDATES
Real time updates will be made TOURNEY MACHINE APP. This will be the ONLY place to get updated results so we recommend downloading the app and refreshing.

7 - FIGHTING OR POOR SPORTSMANSHIP
-Any Fighting will be an automatic removal from the event
-Poor Sportsmanship directed at opposing teams, officials and event staff will NOT be tolerated.

Have fun and enjoy the time with your team. Work with the officials and enjoy coaching the great game of basketball.
