GATE FEE for softball tournament will be collected at all the fields CASH ONLY 11 years old to 64 years old $10 a day/$25 a weekend - 65 year old and older $5 a day/$15 a weekend - 10 and under FREE

Each team will receive 3 coach passes. 1 coach from each team will sign in at the tournament table on the stage.

Tournament t-shirts will be sold on-site for $25 cash.

• LOCATION: Evansville Sports Complex 6800 Green River Road Evansville, IN 47725 .

• All of the fields at Evansville Sports Complex are turf fields no metal cleats.

• 6GG 4 pool play games into double elimination Championship Bracket Play. 90 minute pool play and bracket games.

• AGE DIVISIONS: 14U, 16U, 18U (18U division PGF does not allow players who were on a college softball roster 2023/2024 even if you meet the age qualifications)

TOURNAMENT RULES

Time limit 90 minutes pool games and 90 minutes bracket and championship games Finish the Inning.

Pool games can end in a tie. International tie breaker for bracket play is the last batted out starts at 2nd .

* LINEUPS –During POOL PLAY, you may bat your roster. Courtesy runner for pitcher and catcher is furthest batter away.

*LINEUPS – During BRACKET PLAY 1 option: TRADITONAL lineup (9 batters). If you use DP/FLEX, you may list 10 athletes in the line-up.

*COURTESY RUNNER RULE for PGF Bracket Play - Must use a substitute who has not been in the game.

Pitching Rule – Will be the same at the NFHS Pitching rule.
a. The pitch starts when the pitcher's hands separate after the hands have come together while the pivot foot is in contact with the pitcher's plate.
b. Any step back with the non-pivot foot must begin before the start of the pitch (6-1-2a). Once the pitch has started (the hands separate), the pitcher shall not take more than one step which must be forward, toward the batter and simultaneous with the delivery. EXCEPTION: When removing self from the pitcher's position.

Run rules: 10-after 4, 8- after 5, 6- after 6 and 1 after 7


Tie breakers for bracket are head-to-head, runs against, and run differential:
1. Head to Head
2. Runs Against
3. Run Differential
4. Final is coin toss

Pool Play and Bracket Play Home team is decided by coin toss. Home Team Score Book is considered the Official Score Book.

Evansville Sports Complex Facility Rules

1 TEAM COOLER IS ALLOWED PER TEAM AND YOU WILL BE GIVEN A BAND FOR THAT TEAM COOLER.

• No disorderly conduct or disruptive behavior
• Children 12 & under must be accompanied by an adult
• No pets, other than service animals that are leashed and clearly marked
• No coolers or outside food and beverage allowed
• No weapons or firearms permitted
• Tobacco and vapor free
• The use of bicycles, skateboards, and scooters strictly prohibited
• Authorized vehicles only inside park gates
• No overnight RV parking allowed
• No soliciting
• All vendors must be approved and have a permit issued by Evansville Sports Complex
• No fireworks or open flame
• No hitting or throwing against fence or net material
Field Rules
• No chewing gum
• No sunflower seeds or shelled nuts of any kind
• No tobacco of any kind
• No glass bottles or containers
• No metal cleats or spiked shoes
• No paint, chalk, tape, or adhesive material on field surface
• No hitting or throwing against fence or net material
• No dragging of equipment or unprotected tips on field surface
