2024 Super 7 Elite Showcase
Please email your team insurance to coachlorenzowalker@aol.com. PGF does not allow 18U players that were listed on a roster for the 2023-24 college softball team to play in the 18U division. We will have player add-on forms for anyone that needs one at the gate at University of Evansville and/or Evansville Sports Complex. We will need 1 coach to sign in at the park where your first game is and the person signing in will receive all three coaches bands to distribute. The coaches will need to show the bands to the person working the gate upon entry please.

1 team cooler per team. There are no concessions at University of Evansville.

Gate will be collected at all the fields CASH ONLY 11 years old to 64 years old $15 a day/$25 a weekend - 65 year old and older $5 a day/$10 a weekend - 10 and under FREE

• LOCATION: Evansville Sports Complex 6800 Green River Road Evansville, IN 47725 and University of Evansville - Tri-State Orthopaedics Field at James & Dorothy Cooper Stadium - S Rotherwood Ave, Evansville, IN 47714.

• All of the fields at Evansville Sports Complex and University of Evansville are turf fields no metal cleats. Turf shoes and molded cleats only.

• 4GG - 2 pool play games into double elimination Championship Bracket Play all games are 7 inning games. Pool play games can end in a tie. Please all teams be ready to go at least 15 minutes prior to the set start time of their game because we will start games early if both teams are ready to go.

• AGE DIVISIONS: 14U, 16U, 18U

• GATE FEE -$15/day or $25/weekend pass, Seniors 65 and older $5/day or $10/weekend pass, Kids 10 years old and younger are free.

TOURNAMENT RULES



7 inning games including pool play, bracket, and championship games.

Finish the Inning.

Pool games can end in a tie. International tie breaker for bracket play is the last batted out starts at 2nd.

* LINEUPS –During POOL PLAY and BRACKET, you may bat your roster. Courtesy runner for pitcher and catcher is furthest batter away.

Pitching Rule – Will be the same as the NFHS Pitching rule.

a. The pitch starts when the pitcher's hands separate after the hands have come together while the pivot foot is in contact with the pitcher's plate.

b. Any step back with the non-pivot foot must begin before the start of the pitch (6-1-2a). Once the pitch has started (the hands separate), the pitcher shall not take more than one step which must be forward, toward the batter and simultaneous with the delivery. EXCEPTION: When removing self from the pitcher's position.

Run rules: 10-after 4, 8- after 5, 6- after 6 and 1 after 7

NO 6 after 6 run rule for 12u ONLY

Tie breakers for bracket are head-to-head, runs against, and run differential:

Pool Play and Bracket Play Home team is decided by coin toss. Home Team Score Book is considered the Official Score Book.

*THE Rock Rosin bag and Gorilla Gold blue package is illegal to use due to containing an illegal substance – THIS IS YOUR VERBAL WARNING. Gorilla Gold red package is the only Gorilla Gold that is legal for use. You may use regular rosin bags.

Facility Rules
• No disorderly conduct or disruptive behavior
• Children 12 & under must be accompanied by an adult
• No pets, other than service animals that are leashed and clearly marked
• No coolers or outside food and beverage allowed
• No weapons or firearms permitted
• Tobacco and vapor free
• The use of bicycles, skateboards, and scooters strictly prohibited
• Authorized vehicles only inside park gates
• No overnight RV parking allowed
• No soliciting
• All vendors must be approved and have a permit issued by Evansville Sports Complex
• No fireworks or open flame
• No hitting or throwing against fence or net material
Field Rules
• No chewing gum
• No sunflower seeds or shelled nuts of any kind
• No tobacco of any kind
• No glass bottles or containers
• No metal cleats or spiked shoes
• No paint, chalk, tape, or adhesive material on field surface
• No hitting or throwing against fence or net material
• No dragging of equipment or unprotected tips on field surface
