Tournament Note

Coaches, Families, and Players-

Thanks for joining us for the "GRBA Div. II State Championships" Presented by Iowa Gym Rats.

We are excited to welcome 165+ boys & girls teams from around the Midwest to the Des Moines Metro. Games will be played February 22-23, 2025 as we look forward to a fun weekend of basketball.

The schedule was posted at 12:20 PM on February 18th, 2025. Coaches were emailed at this time.

Coaches will be notified if the schedule is updated at any point between now and the event. The schedule will NOT change unless there was a mistake made by the event directors or something unforeseen were to happen.

PLEASE NOTE THAT DUE TO THE SIZE OF THE EVENT AND MANY COACH CONFLICTS/SCHEDULE REQUESTS WE ARE NOT CHANGING THE SCHEUDLE OR DIVISIONS UNLESS A MISTAKE WAS MADE OR SOMETHING WERE TO HAPPEN. PLEASE RESPECT THIS AS WE APPRECIATE YOUR COOPERATION.

PLEASE ALSO NOTE THAT WE ARE PLAYING LATER ON SATURDAY NIGHT AND SUNDAY THAN WE WOULD LIKE. THERE IS NO WAY AROUND THIS AND AGAIN WE APPRECIATE YOUR COOPERATION.

Doors will open @ 7:30am on Saturday and 7:30am on Sunday and games will start at 8:00am each day.

PLEASE DO NOT SHOW UP EARLIER AND PLEASE LET YOUR FAMILIES KNOW THIS.

Please share all of the following information with your parents/players before the start of the event. This is vital that the following information is shared to parents/players before arrival.

-Please understand that it is your responsibility to check back frequently for schedule changes.
-Coaches will be notified by email when changes occur.
-There will be no wall schedules/brackets for this event. Please use the "Tourney Machine App" to follow results, standings, and game times.

Entering the facility:
-There will be 2 coaches passes per team.
-Event staff will provide a scorekeeper for each game.
-There will NOT be any passes for scorekeepers.
-Home Team is listed 1st in Pool Play and on top of the bracket. They will wear light colored jersey.

Admission is charged for spectators: (DAILY ADMISSION ONLY):
Saturday & Sunday
ADULT - $12
K-12 CHILD - $7
5 YEARS AND UNDER FREE

Live Streaming for all games:
We have partnered with "Be the Beast" Live streaming this year and all games played at "515 Fieldhouse Courts", "Kingdom Courts", and "Mid-American Rec Plex". There is a cost associated with the Live Stream and that information can be found here:

Home Team:
1st team listed on schedule in Pool Play or on the Top of the bracket. They will wear light colored jersey.

Game Ball:
Provided by the HOME TEAM.

Warm Up Basketballs:
No warmup basketballs will be provided. Teams must supply their own.
