07/27 - 07/30: Best of Three Series
08/02: Last Chance Bracket (if needed within your division)

This year we are moving away from "Regions" to qualify for the state tournament. Each team grouping will have two opportunities to earn their berth to the state tournament. The first opportunity will be a best of three series. The second opportunity will be a "last chance" single elimination bracket.

In reference to our rulebook, for 14U and 17U, where you see "Regions" listed, insert "Divisions".

Teams have been paired to play a best of three series. The winner will earn their berth in their respective division's state tournament.

The loser will then be entered to play a single elimination "last chance" bracket to fill the remaining spot at their state tournament.

The state tournament will consist of 6 teams placed into two pools of three teams. Each team will complete pool play on Friday. Friday's pool play will be 5 inning games.

Saturday begins bracket play.

Based on the pool play results, seeds 2 and seeds 3 will play cross play the first two games Saturday.

The losers of the 2 v 3 seed games will play Sunday morning for 5th place.

The winners of those two games will cross play the #1 seed if possible. It is possible that 3 of those 4 teas could be from the same pool. If that occurs, the 2 seed will play the 1 seed from the other pool.

The losers of the Saturday evening games will play Sunday for 3rd place.
The winners will play Sunday for the State Championship
