DECEMBER 10, 2021 - PELLA PLAYOFF RULES UPDATE: PELLA PLAYOFF TOURNAMENT RULES ARE THE SAME AS LEAGUE RULES, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF OVERTIME. OVERTIME WILL BE 2 MINUTES IN LENGTH, AND WILL REPEAT FOR 2ND OVERTIME, 3RD OVERTIME, ETC. (NO SUDDEN DEATH)GOOD LUCK TO ALL TEAMS THIS WEEKEND! Dear Coaches and Program Heads -Welcome to the OSA Pella Youth Basketball League FALL 2021 Season! We are thrilled to have you play with us, and we CANNOT WAIT to begin the league and start the new season off with each and every one of your teams!SCHEDULES are posted online at https://tourneymachine.com/R93892. We may need to make a few adjustments to some future weeks, and all affected coaches will be notified via email.END OF SEASON PELLA PLAYOFFS- All 3rd - 8th grade teams are guaranteed 7 regular season games, which will be followed by our End of Season Single Elimination PELLA PLAYOFFS, which will run from December 10th thru December 16th (Friday thru Thursday). Those brackets will be posted within your division schedule by mid-November.VENUES - All games will be held at the Union Bank & Trust Sports Complex and the Mark this season. Doors will open at 7:30am, and no earlier.RULES - League Rules can be found within your online schedules. Please be sure to go over these closely, as some adjustments have been made with timeouts and clock stops to allow for more coaching / learning opportunities. Please also be sure to share these with all of your coaches and parents.ROSTERS - All rosters must be entered online. After the 2nd week of the league, coaches may not add players to their rosters without approval from OSA management.ADMISSIONS - We will be keeping our admissions prices the same this season - $3/daily for adults 18 and over. Kids are free. We will be selling a season pass with 8 punches for $20 the first two weeks only. THIS PASS INCLUDES A FREE BAG OF POPCORN!COACH PASSES - Each team will be allowed two coach passes per team. ALL COACHES MUST PICK UP THEIR PASSES AT UBT SPORTS COMPLEX ON SATURDAY FROM 7:30AM - 7PM AND ON SUNDAY FROM 7:30AM - 6PM THIS WEEK. SCOREKEEPER PASS - NEW THIS SEASON! Each team will be given one scorekeeper pass for the season. THIS WILL BE GIVEN TO THE HEAD COACH WHEN THEY PICK UP THEIR OWN SEASON PASS.Once again, we know you have choices on where your teams play, and we are very appreciative of your continued support of OSA! We pride ourselves on providing the best competition levels for your teams, the best facilities in town, and the best staff to help meet your needs to create a positive game day experience for all! This season will be no exception!
